Where do I park?

Enter the parking deck attached to the main hospital building. Parking available in nonrestricted areas. Enter the hospital from first floor of parking deck. The auditorium is on your left.

Is food or drink allowed?

No food is allowed in the auditorium. Drinks or allowed if they are in a non-spill container. Coffee, water, soft drinks, juices, snacks, and lunch will be available in adjacent conference rooms.

Will I receive continuing education?

Yes. Both nursing CE and CERPs will be available. You MUST bring your nursing license to scan!

Organized by

BEST was established to provide lactation education to professionals in the area.  Conferences are usually held yearly on Good Friday and Veteran's Day weekend.  BEST meetings are held regularly to offer support to those interested in lactation.  The Alabama Breastfeeding Committee was established in 2005, with membership open to anyone with an interest in education, promotion and support of breastfeeding.  It is governed by a Board of Directors, with one full membership meeting per year, in August.
