Welcome to the Arts & Culture Partners Learning Series! Join us for a conversation exploring how the arts support prevention and recovery efforts for substance use disorder (SUD). Designed for community-based cultural organizations—whether you currently engage with individuals affected by SUD or are looking to learn—this session will highlight creative approaches, real-world examples, and the science behind why integrating the arts into healing and prevention efforts works. Gain insight from Alexia Jones (Executive Director, Rise 2 Recovery) and Clara Takarabe (Neuroscience researcher, Northwestern Music and Medicine Program) as they offer learnings from both lived expereince and academic research, and discover ways your organization can make an impact.
