What’s happening?
We’ll meet with a few local dads to chat and get creative. We’ll be making collages – cutting and combining pictures from magazines – to create our own unique images of fatherhood. No experience needed – it’s easy, fun, and the results can be amazing! The creative session lasts an hour, and you’re welcome to stay for a drink afterwards if you fancy.
Who’s hosting this?
I’m Jake, a dad to a one-year-old daughter and a Hackney local. I work with people to unlock their creativity (yes, we all have it!) because I believe it helps us live fuller lives. This session is something I’m doing on my own time because…
Why?
I want to meet other dads who are curious about fatherhood. We know it’s important that dads share equally in the joys and burdens of parenting. Beyond that I feel there’s something missing for me – a positive vision of what it means to be a good dad and a good ancestor today. This session is a chance to start exploring that together.
