Welcome to the ConnectHV April Meetup! Join us on Wednesday, April 23 at 6:00 PM in downtown Poughkeepsie's beautiful Barnfox event & coworking space for an evening of connection with fellow creatives/tech/entrepreneurial folks in the Hudson Valley.

Everyone is welcome! The typical ConnectHV crowd includes designers and photographers, realtors and accountants, filmmakers and educators, students and retirees, and everything in between. If you're interested in coming, you belong!

What's the parking situation?

There's a municipal lot right across the street, at the intersection of Academy St. and Cannon St., that costs $1.50 an hour. You can pay using a meter, or using the mayPay2Park+ app.

How much does it cost to get in?

It's free!

I'm not really creative. Is this for me?

Yes! We have all kinds of people come, from artists & designers to engineers & accountants to government employees and students. "Creative" is more a catch-all term, but what we really mean is, "interesting people who want to hang out with other interesting people."

What's the vibe?

Casual, conversational, and collaborative. This isn't really a "networking event" (?) as much as a chance to meet some cool people in a cool setting.

I'm an introvert. Should I come?

You know what? I am too. The best compliment I've gotten about these events so far is that they're welcoming to everyone, not just extroverts.
