Meet Makayla!
Saturday Yoga Instructor
My name is Makayla and I’m so honored to be here! I hail from Fallbrook, California and serve North County SD by slinging herbs at The Loose Leaf, supporting families as a birth doula, teaching yoga at two studios, and, very very soon, teaching pyrography at a local art school! Nature is my biggest inspiration, my favorite teacher, and safest haven at any given time. This shows in my art and how I serve/support others. I’m passionate about teaching accessible yoga that fits most bodies and all walks of life. Marrying yoga and nature is a dream come true. I look forward to practicing with you under the sun!
Meet Di!
Saturday Yoga Instructor
Di is a passionate yoga instructor certified in Prenatal, Postnatal and Trauma Informed Yoga. Providing a safe and sacred space empowering students from beginning to advance through a safe and dynamic practice, promoting balance between mind, body and spirit while fully rooted in the present moment and having fun along the way. In 2017 she felt the call to become a Yoga instructor and has been teaching ever since. She is a proud mother of 3. She is also a dedicated Maternal Mental Health Advocate and PMAD's survivor. Di is certified as a Peer Support Specialist and is the Outreach Director of Thrive Wellness Collective, a local non profit that provides midwifery and holistic services for new mothers. As well she is a member and volunteer with the Postpartum Health Alliance in San Diego. She is a respected Reiki Master and Intuitive Energy Mentor helping high achievers who feel stuck and struggling to move forward in their life by creating transformational experiences through many energy modalities. Di is motivated to unify and engage all in a safe inclusive environment for open conversation focused on life experiences. She is committed to honor each student in their own Yoga journey.
Meet Shelby!
Saturday Yoga Instructor
Shelby (CHt-IACT, E-RYT500, YACEP, CST) is passionate about supporting others on their life's journeys from the deepest seeded traumas to the highest of accomplishments. Her work as a Hypnotherapist is rooted in Regression Therapy and Parts Therapy to ignite a deeper level of awareness and healing for her clients. She is dedicated to continual education and finding new, innovative and effective ways to support others healing. She experienced the most peace and balance through the practices of Yoga when paired with other integrative healing techniques, so this led her down the path to bringing a fully embodied therapeutic practice to life. Shelby’s curiosity for how we process, and store information has sparked this mission to inspire others by deepening their understanding of themselves. She believes that it is her duty to help break the barriers and stigmas on what healing is so we can leave this world a better place than when we found it.) is passionate about supporting others on their life's journeys from the deepest seeded traumas to the highest of accomplishments.
