Join us for this in-person training to become a certified Community Science Water Quality Monitoring Program Volunteer! During this training, you will learn about Potomac Riverkeeper Networks role in preventing pollution in our watershed & the role of Community Science in our Swimmable Potomac Campaign, learn the field and lab methods for collecting and reading water quality samples, get hands-on experience practicing water sample collection and take our Community Science Water Quality Monitor Volunteer test to become certified within our program!

Volunteers must be 18 or older, or accompanied by an adult, and be available to collect water samples on Wednesday mornings during our sampling season (May - September). For more information on our Water Quality Monitoring Program visit our website!
