About this event

Drag comes in all shapes and sizes, but the best kind of drag is the one that makes you laugh! Join Dr. Zackarina Jenny-hoe and a new cast of drag queens, kings and things each month for a fabulous comedy experience unlike any other. Each month, the cast will take over a different form of comedy like stand-up, improv, celebrity impersonations, roasts, one woman shows, drag numbers, and more! All of that, while wearing a wig and heels! Be sure to follow @dr.zackarina and @risecomedy to find out what type of comedy show you'll see that month, or just sign up without knowing!

Frequently asked questions

How do I get tickets?

Tickets must be bought through RISE Comedy online at risecomedy.com. They are $16 online and $19 at the door. The money goes to the performers (so help us pay our bills!).

Is it kid friendly?

RISE allows people under the age of 21 at shows before 10 PM. However, drag queens, kings and things can get a little raunchy so mature language and topics might be discussed.

Can I drink?

RISE Comedy has a full bar AND you can drink during the show ;) The more you drink, the prettier we look!

Why does my ticket say "NOT A TICKET"?

Cause it's not a ticket! You must purchase a ticket online at RISEcomedy.com in order to have a seat. This eventbrite does not count as a ticket, and there is a chance that there will not be tickets at the door as this is usually a sold out event.

What does this show look like?

Each show is a little different, but they all have the same structure. We do some comedy drag numbers, a bit of standup, maybe some interactive games and usually some big event like a roast (as an example). We have a rotating cast and sometimes the show is 1, 2, 3 or even 4 drag artists!

Should I bring money to tip with?

Well, a drag queen will NEVER say no to money, but this isn't your typical bar drag show. We won't really move through the audience and we'll stay on stage the full time. You can tip the cast after the show or via Venmo at @dr_zack (we promise we'll distribute it!)

What is parking like?

It's downtown parking on a Saturday night...plan accordingly! Rideshare, carpool, or leave extra time to look for parking options. There is street and lot parking available downtown.
