About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Have you heard of the Colorado End-of-Life Collaborative? We are the premiere state-wide nonprofit organization founded in 2020 dedicated to education and compassionate care for those with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. Our providers are thoroughly vetted practitioners like death doulas, grief counselors, Celebrants, and more.

We often work in conjunction with palliative care and hospice providers. However, in the last five years, we have found that there are sometimes obstacles that get in the way of engaging with us. Come spend a brief evening learning about what we do, networking with compassionate professionals, and enjoying a delicious meal free of charge. You'll learn the easiest way to reach out to others in the community who share your goal of comprehensive care for your patients who are reaching the end of their own life stories.

April 1, 2025, the Collaborative is hosting a free mixer from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The event will take place at the Davis Schilken Law Offices 4582 S. Ulster Street, Suite 200, Denver, CO 80237.

We invite you and anyone from your team interested in attending to join us.

Everyone involved with end-of-life work and support wants the best for the people they care for. Doulas help open those doors. Doulas understand the gaps in knowledge, communication, and expectations around hospice and palliative care. Working together, we can bridge the gaps and better support families as they approach a hospice journey. We are also there to deepen support and level-set expectations once hospice has begun. Acting as another set of eyes and ears, we help deepen education and dispel the myths and fears around care.

All hospice and palliative care staff and anyone else who works with those who are dying and wants to learn more about why, when, and how to engage with a professional death doula are welcome to attend this event.

This event is generously hosted by Davis Schilken Law Group and Colorado End-of-Life Collaborative.
