🌿🎶 Hey there! I'm thrilled to invite you to our bi-weekly Colibrita Song Circle - Online Practice and Jam Sessions, where we dive deep into the transformative world of Colibrita Songs by learning them together.
🌺 Inspired by the incredible spirit of my dear friend and sister in spirit, Marisa Miquiztochtli Reyes, we'll learn and sing the songs that meant so much to her, especially during her courageous journey with breast cancer, in the Colibrita Style.
📜 Marisa left us a precious gift—a songbook filled with powerful medicine music from the Moon Dance Ceremony and her own healing compositions in which we will be learning the songs from and bits of her story through her journey with Breast Cancer. See the attached file to gain access to the sound book!
🎤 Together, we'll take our time to learn each song—discovering their lyrics, meanings, and rhythms. I'm excited to explore how to use your voice as a healing tool, just as Marisa did for herself, and to help make these songs uniquely your own.
