This hands-on pottery class is designed to introduce participants to the technique of coil building, a versatile and accessible method for creating both functional and decorative ceramic pieces. Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience, this class will guide you through the process of shaping and stacking coils of clay to form vessels, sculptures, or other creative objects.
When the class is over your pieces will spend three weeks drying and getting fired in the kiln. Once your piece(s) are fired you will be able to pick up as is at the gallery, or there will be an option to glaze your pieces at the galley for $10. Pieces must dry and be fired before glazing.
