About this event

  • Event lasts 8 hours

Every three years the building codes are updated, which includes the IECC. Often these changes are mostly small adjustments to what one is already doing. That isn’t quite the case for the 2024 edition of the IECC. This class will discuss the changes to the existing concepts for the thermal envelope, and how one can build on what was being done previous for the older codes. We will also discuss the new provisions and how one might be able to demonstrate compliance with these requirements.

  • This full-day program includes lunch.
  • This class has been approved for 7.0 AIA CES Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) learning unit hours.

Hope enjoys working with the energy and sustainability codes and had made this her focus to support the building communities as these codes become a focal point.
