DSNY Clean Buildings Training: Maintenance (In-Person, 1-Day)

The Clean Buildings Training program is a FREE course (4 hours total), designed to help building maintenance staff run an outstanding apartment building waste management program.

Upon completion, program graduates receive a Clean Buildings Training Certificate.

To qualify for the Clean Buildings Training Certificate, participants must:

  1. Attend a training session (4 hours total).
  2. Complete a site visit with DSNY staff at your building.
  3. Demonstrate an outstanding apartment building waste management program.

The program is open to all who work in the building maintenance field for residential buildings in NYC. To be accepted into the program you must work in a residential building, in the building maintenance field, and in at least one of the 5 boroughs of NYC.

If you are accepted into the program, you will receive a confirmation email with details about next steps.
