In this training participants will learn the foundational elements of circle-keeping, learn the structure and importance of pre-sessions, and gain resources and skills to hold their own circle or restorative chat.
Participants will review the foundation of Restorative Practices, their indigenous roots, and discuss the significance and benefits of circle keeping to reduce conflict and resolve harm that has been caused.
By the end of this training participants will be able to :
- Name the elements important to the circle process
- Understand how circles are used in society
- Gain skills to facilitate a pre-session, circle, and a restorative chat
- Be able to facilitate circles on their own
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of training.
