The Chainsaw Safety and Handling workshops teach the following for anyone new to the use of chainsaws or interested in learning more:

•basic safety and handling of chainsaws

•proper selection of well-fitting PPE

•selecting chainsaws based on intended use and physical limitations

•basic saw cuts on downed trees

•operating practices to reduce fatigue/body stress

•basic chainsaw maintenance
