We invite you to join the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA), and Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) on May 13 at The Ohio State University’s Fawcett Center (2600 Olentangy River Rd, OH 43210) for an interactive workshop on the Central Ohio Regional Water Study findings. Free parking is available on site.
There will be two sessions, a morning session from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and an afternoon session from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. (Please only sign up for one session)
Both sessions are designed for local governments' decision-makers and their consultants to connect with the water study team with specific questions about the Regional Water Study findings and the new dashboard tool. The water study state agency personnel and consultants will be on hand in breakout rooms to discuss:
- Interactive Dashboard (Hazen and Sawyer)
- Project Planning (Jacobs)
- Understanding Groundwater Resources (Eagon & Associates and ODNR)
- Water Quality (Coldwater Consulting, ODNR and Ohio EPA)
The Ohio EPA will also discuss in a general session its water and wastewater infrastructure funding. Before the workshop, we encourage attendees to visit the Regional Water Study’s website, where you can view the full 15-county study findings, your individual county’s findings, and explore the interactive dashboard.
