Celebrate $20 Dinner with Hell Gate
We always like to keep you fed—with scoops, with news, with takes. But on March 27, from 7-10pm, we'd like to do so with literal food—sliders, pasta balls, and nachos. For our quarterly event this spring, we're inviting you to join us for a special $20 Dinner themed party, in recognition of Scott Lynch's work on our longest running weekly column, plus something big we've been cooking up to help his reviews really come to life.
To celebrate, we'll be hanging out at The Crush, the restaurant in the back of Bushwick bar Danger Danger, for a night of free, buffet-style appetizers—including a slider version of The Crush's surprisingly delicious peanut butter and jelly fried chicken sandwich—and drinks (which you have to pay for, but trust us, they're tasty!).
We'll have a Q&A with Scott about all things $20 Dinner, and we'll also be making an extremely special announcement about something we've been working on in the Hell Gate kitchen for months now. We want you, our Believers and Supporters, to be the first to get this news, and for there to be enough food to go around—so for this event we're asking that you not bring any +1s.
