In this interactive workshop, Dr. Suzanne Mungalez brings her expertise as a licensed clinical psychologist and perinatal mental health specialist to guide birthworkers through real-life case studies. About Dr. Suzanne Mungalez, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMH-C, CLES
Dr. Mungalez—known as Dr. Zann—is a Black, Congolese-American, queer, gender-expansive mother and clinician. She is a private practice psychologist at The MaMA Space, an adjunct faculty member at The Wright Institute, and a perinatal mental health specialist dedicated to decolonizing mental health care. Her approach is tender with people, tough on systems, and relentlessly committed to collective liberation.
