This session will explore the history of the Collaboration, highlight key moments of progress, and share how the current strategic plan aims to strengthen partnerships, improve sexual health outcomes for youth, and build a more connected network of services across the county. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the mission, vision, and current initiatives driving this work forward—and how they can plug in.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the role of honestly and the structure of the Central Oklahoma Teen Pregnancy Prevention Collaboration.
  2. Summarize the mission, vision, and strategic priorities guiding the Collaboration's work.
  3. Identify current initiatives and opportunities to engage with or support the Collaboration’s goals.

Honestly: Youth Sexual Health is building a movement to improve sexual health outcomes for youth in Oklahoma County. Honestly is the visioning and convening leader of a public-private collaboration to reduce the teen birth rate in Oklahoma County. The Collaboration includes key partners the Kirkpatrick Family Fund, OKC-County Health Department, OKC Public Schools, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Planned Parenthood Great Plains, Teen emPower!, and Variety Care. However, dozens of community organizations, professionals and volunteers are working together to help reduce the teen birth rate in Oklahoma County.
