This Easter, let’s go beyond the candy and learn a real survival skill! In this hands-on, kid-friendly workshop, children (ages 5+) will discover how to filter water in the wild using fun challenges, games, and an Easter twist! Younger children with strong focus are also welcome.


What’s in Store?

🥚 Easter Egg Filtration Hunt – Kids will hunt for common water filtration materials, then use them to build their own DIY Solar Filter!
🐰 Bunny Relay Challenge – A fun race to gather supplies to make an Earth Filter and filter water—hopping encouraged!
💧 Test Adventure – Kids will compare different filtered water samples and guess which method worked best.
🎁 Golden Egg Prize – Answer fun survival trivia for a chance to win a special Easter surprise!


Who Should Attend?

This event is perfect for curious kids who love hands-on learning, adventure, and a little friendly competition!

Parents are encouraged to join their child(ren) for no additional cost. Children 14 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
A waiver must be completed for all participating individuals. Anyone under 18 years of age requires a parent or guardian’s signature on the waiver.


What to Bring & Wear:

  • Required: Closed-toed shoes
  • Recommended: Long pants, long sleeves, and a sun hat for protection
  • Provided: Gloves for all participants
  • Parking: $5 cash for parking

What age group is this event for?

This event is designed for kids ages 5 and up. Younger children with strong focus are also welcome.

Do parents need to stay with their children?

Yes. Children 14 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are encouraged to participate at no extra cost!

Will my child be drinking the filtered water?

For safety reasons, the water filtered during the activity WILL NOT be consumed during the activity. Before the water can be safe to consume it must be brought to a boil for 1 - 3 minutes to PURIFY it.

Does my child have to drink the purified water?

No, drinking the purified water is optional. However, to immerse yourself in the nature of survival it is recommended you give it a try.

What should my child wear?

Since we’ll be outdoors, closed-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves, and a sun hat are recommended. Gloves will be provided.

What should we bring?

- A bottle of water - Weather-appropriate clothing - Any necessary personal items

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. A waiver must be completed for all participating individuals. Anyone under 18 requires a parent or guardian’s signature. An email will be sent with the waiver. Please have it printed and filled out or completed via e-signature.

What if it rains?

In case of bad weather, we will notify you via email or text with any changes or rescheduling details.

How long will the event last?

The event will last approximately 2 hours, including hands-on activities and an Easter-themed survival challenge.

Will there be food or snacks?

No, we recommend eating before or after the event. Feel free to bring a snack and a drink for your child if needed.
