About this event

  • Event lasts 15 minutes

Box breathing, also known as Sama Vritti, is a breathing technique that utilizes equal length inhales, breath retentions (or pauses) and exhales to help us balance our nervous system and manage stress. The effects of this breathing technique are accumulative. This practice is great for beginners to pranayama!
Sa Ta Na Ma Mantra Meditation is a powerful and transformative practice rooted in the Kundalini yoga tradition. This mantra, derived from the Sanskrit phrase "Sat Nam" (meaning "truth is my identity"), represents the cycle of life. By chanting, meditating, or mentally repeating this mantra, practitioners connect with the natural rhythms of life, balance their mind, and foster clarity.

Yoga brings our attention to what we already have. We all have our breath, so pranayama (breathwork) has an important place in our yoga program. We all experience the benefits of deep relaxed breathing or even of a single deep full breath in and out through the nose. Many other techniques we teach are just as simple, easy and you can use them anywhere any time you need them. Numerous studies refer to the effectiveness of meditation, deep breathing and mindfulness in dealing with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. Yes Yes Yoga is dedicated to bringing this wonderful practice to all seeking healing and optimal health. Our mission is to share simple yoga tools for everyday life.

We offer yoga sessions for beginners, for relaxation, for fitness as well as kids & family yoga. Private, group, and corporate sessions online & in person in Denver, CO. See full schedule HERE.
