Yoga brings our attention to what we already have. We all have our breath, so pranayama (breathwork) has an important place in our yoga program. We all experience the benefits of deep relaxed breathing or even of a single deep full breath in and out through the nose. Many other techniques we teach are just as simple, easy and you can use them anywhere any time you need them. Numerous studies refer to the effectiveness of meditation, deep breathing and mindfulness in dealing with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety and depression.
