It’s Whiskey and History! Join the Friends of the Rising Sun Inn for Bourbon and Boxwood on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Historic Rising Sun Inn located at 1090 General’s Highway, Crownsville.
In the shadow of our 300 year old historic boxwood, enjoy this special event featuring a sampling of locally distilled whiskies, gins and more from McClintock Distilling Co. of Frederick, Maryland. Learn about the rise of whiskey distilling in Maryland the incredible history throughout the creation of the country through the Civil War and the resurgence of Maryland whiskey of today!
Tickets are $45.00 each or $80.00 for two and include the lecture, whiskey sampling, and lite bites. Bottles will be available at additional cost and payable to McClintock.
