Frequently asked questions

Will the pool be open?

No, the pool will NOT be open, but you are welcome to jump in the pond if you need a refreshing plunge!

If I already bought a book that I want Brent to sign, can I bring it with me?

Yes, and you should only purchase a $10 ticket!

Do I have to be present to win the Day at Longhaven Giveaway?

No! But we'd love for you to hang around and get to know as many others as you can. We know you have important things to do, and while this event is not the most important thing you could be doing, it does rank right up there with all the other Marketplace Fishing Expeditions you could sign up for!

Will I be able to walk the trails at Longhaven?

Yes... the trails should be mowed and in good walking condition. You may want to bring boots if it has been rainy and muddy.

Can I smoke on the property at this event?

We prefer you NOT smoke anywhere on the property. We really hate walking around and picking up cigarette butts. If you just can't wait and you must smoke, please do so far away from other guests, the log cabin, and the surrounding woods, so perhaps in the middle of the pond. Place butts in pockets.

Will you be serving alcohol?

We will not be serving alcohol. We will probably have water bottles available. And we are working with the food truck to include a drink with your meal ticket.
