Blue Ghost Firefly Guided Hike

Discover the enchanting world of fireflies in the Southern Appalachians, home to the rare and mesmerizing Blue Ghost species! Learn about their fascinating natural history, including their lifespan, diet, and population, before venturing into the forest to witness their magic firsthand. This guided tour offers a unique opportunity to experience the wonder of nature and connect more deeply to the environment around you.

The evening will begin at 7:45 p.m. with an opportunity to calm your mind and awaken your senses through a nature immersion experience that blends science and soul. We will share insights about the Blue Ghost fireflies and engage in poetry and reflection, setting the stage for the glowing to begin.

As darkness falls, participants will be guided into the woods for a journey of wonder and awe. The tour will end at 10:00pm.

This exclusive tour is offered for 2 nights only, with group sizes limited to 15 people for an intimate experience.
