About this event

A virtual Yoga Nidra and Journaling session that combines the restorative practice of Yoga Nidra with the introspective power of journaling, creating a holistic experience that nurtures both mind and body.

We'll meet every Monday for a powerful and oh-so restorative Yoga Nidra and gratitude journaling to help:

  • Balance your mental and physical well-being
  • Cultivate the life-changing habit of gratitude through journaling.
  • Set the stage for the week ahead
  • Build community, accountability, and ritual by meeting rather than just pressing play on a video (that's great too, but not everyone has the will power to just start practicing on their own, and that's just what we'll do.

I'll be personally guiding you through the practice with a freshly written script and a powerful mantra (affirmation/personal statement) to go along with the gratitude prompt.

I'll be grabbing this prompt directly from my 30-day gratitude course "The Grateful Heart." , where each prompt asks you to bring up a specific life experience and look for the positive, while writing why you are grateful for it (see an example below where we focused on our ability to give).

ABOUT YOGA NIDRA:

Yoga Nidra is this powerful meditation technique practiced lying down in Savasana (Corpse Pose). The practice takes you into a borderline state of being half awake, and

half asleep. Within that state, also known as the hypnagogic, or the "superconscious" state, the practitioner achieves a deep state of relaxation while accessing the subconscious, and unconscious levels of the mind.

* You will need to set-up in Savasana at home to practice Yoga Ndra. *

You’ll need: mat, blankets, pillows, eye pillow.

Duration: Approximately 40 Minutes

When: Every Monday 8pm EST.

Location: Virtually via Zoom (aka the comfort of your home). You will receive the link one hour before class.

Investment: Pay-What-You-Can (suggestion $1-$20)
