Exciting News for the West Coast faebies who have dreamed of celebrating Black Fae Day with the fae who started it all🧚🏽‍♂️✨We are excited to announce that @blackfaedayofficial is partnering with @novelescapesllc to bring you the Flora & Fauna Garden Party & Ball in Portland Oregon!

Saturday May 10, 2025! The daytime activities and vendors are open to all ages with a 21+ outdoor area and bar. Bring your mom, friends, kids or come solo! The theme is “Flora & Fauna!” Don a gown, antlers, fae wings, or all of them combined!

Enjoy magical photo backdrops, games, decor and live music! We will have a live panel with @BlackFaeDayOfficial & featured VIP creators, plus a vibrant vendor bazaar featuring up to 20 Black-owned and allied local vendors and artists. The Carver Event Center will open their new bistro & speakeasy to serve delicious bites, exclusive themed cocktails/mocktails, beer, and wine for sale. So come have tea on the lovely grounds under the willow trees, and support representation in fantasy!


🌼 Garden Party & Vendors (11AM-4PM) entry: $10 | Kids 5 & under: Free


🌿Flora & Fauna Cocktail Hour & ball (7PM-11PM) featuring BFD VIPs a cozy ballroom, music and a cash bar. This event is limited to 100 public guests. This ticket includes Garden Party access and is just $99.

What is the dresscode?

This event is fae/fantasy themed. It is “Flora & Fauna” with a fantasy twist, expect florals and faerie decor — with whimsy! You can wear anything you like that you feel fits into that theme. Horns, wings, gowns, and anything art nouveau!

How many vendors will be there?

20 or less.

Food & Drink ?

Yes. Carver will be selling Bistro bites and specialty cocktails and mocktails from the speakeasy! There will also be a special 21+ area.

Kid friendly?

Yes! Please bring the kiddos. We will have a special faerie themed reading time —where a character will be telling stories, lots of appropriate games, and fun to be had! It’s going to be magical and diverse!

LGBTQIA + safe?

Absolutely, this is a safe space and Novel Escapes is extremely proud of platforming all kinds of marginalized communities. We welcome you, to the best community!

Yes! Please support this event! Your $ is directly going to support these amazing creators who are flying here /making time to be a part of this event, all to bring recognition and representation to our efforts to bring it to the West Coast (and we really want to see more of that support!)
