Trisha, a proud daughter of Oakland, is deeply passionate about building communities through her work in affordable housing. This commitment to creating spaces for people to thrive has seamlessly translated into her fashion brand, [wo]. For Trisha, fashion is more than just clothing—it's a statement, a movement, and a powerful way to build community. Through [wo], she creates a space for empowerment, self-expression, and connection, reflecting her belief that style should inspire confidence. Outside of her work, Trisha loves music and travel, constantly drawing inspiration from the world around her.

Hella Thrifty is a black-owned, LGBTQ+ friendly clothing company that celebrates the bold fashion trends of the 1980s and 1990s with a modern twist, making iconic styles accessible to today’s trendsetters. Hella Thrifty is run by Dannie Cherie, a native of California and avid thrift shopper and fashion blogger. Hella Thrifty was spurred from her passion for exchanging and sharing unique thrift finds. Specializing in vintage and retro styles, Hella Thrifty captures the essence of Bay Area California culture through its vibrant collection of apparel. Catering to nostalgic fashion enthusiasts and proud Bay Area residents, the company offers a unique blend of streetwear and casual everyday wear, available both online and at local vending events.
