About this event

Starts March 18th (Tuesdays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for 6 weeks).

Brush up on your skills and follow up on what was learned in Wheel Throwing Part One. Participants must be reasonably comfortable (not proficient, but know the procedure) with centering and throwing a three inch cylinder. We will review centering and throwing a cylinder and go on from there to making different lids, handles, and go over glazing. Also covered will be bowls and various spouts. The instructor can demonstrate most things students are interested in or curious about. Bring questions and wear old clothes.

For students who have taken one of our beginner level ceramic series or a similar course elsewhere.

Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.

Fee does not include materials. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor.

About the instructor: Lee Cummings has over fifty years experience working with clay--thirty as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
