Get off the beaten path and explore the edge of believable with captivating stories from the 49th Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, coming to The Union County Fine Arts Center, on Saturday, March 29 at 2 PM. Stand on the highest peaks, ski the steepest slopes, and be a part of the gripping adventures waiting for you in this year’s Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour. From exploring remote landscapes to adrenaline-fueled action sports, films selected for the 2024/2025 World Tour are sure to captivate and amaze you. Be moved. Be inspired. Don’t miss out. The series of short adventure films will last 2.5 to 3 hours, including a brief intermission. Previews of the selected films showing at the Blairsville screening will be shared soon!

The Georgia Appalachian Trail Club and its partners welcome you to join us in the Fine Arts Center lobby at 1 PM, before the films start, to learn more about the work of our organization and meet some of the local groups that support the hiking and trail community in our region!

The proceeds from the Blairsville screening of The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will support the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club’s mission to preserve, protect and promote the Appalachian Trail in Georgia!
