About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

The Resource Fair at the 26th annual Autism Acceptance Day at the Philadelphia Zoo is the place to connect with the Autism Community. It is open to the general public and draws thousands of attendees from all over the tri-state area. The event is held at the Philadelphia Zoo Peacock Pavilion in the center of the Zoo with the Resource Fair mainly outside of the large Peacock Pavilion. Most tables are tented. This is an excellent opportunity for organizations to network and share resources with those with Autism, their families and friends, as well as other professionals in the Autism field.

It is also a fun filled event with Music, Jugglers, Magic, Sensory Stations, Crafts tables, Raffles, Give Aways, Mascots, Kid Characters, Princesses, Special Guests and much more, all nestled within the amazing Philadelphia Zoo! Zoo maps will be provided so that you can find anything you need including "Quiet" spaces to relax.

Attendees can enjoy all of these activities, the Autism Resource Fair and admission to the Philadelphia Zoo. Philadelphia Zoo members get in free. The Philadephia Zoo now accepts the ACCESS card for discounted admission which will be valid on this day. Autism Society Greater Philadelphia also has a group Eventbrite link for discounted admission to the Philadelphia Zoo. Autism Society Greater Philadelphia does not charge attendees for this event. The only charge is the cost to get into the Zoo.

****Due to ACCESS Cards being accepted for Philadelphia Zoo admission we anticipate a marked increase in attendence!******
