Frequently asked questions

Is the class physical in nature?

Yes. Improvisation often incorporates physical movement & stage physicality. As a student, you are ultimately in charge of your own physical participation. We encourage you to engage fully, but always within your comfort & capability. Please be mindful of your body and any limitations you may have.

Is the class wheelchair accessible?

I'm afraid not. Most of our improv classes are located on the second floor, accessible via two flights of stairs. If you would like to participate in our classes but are unable to navigate stairs, please contact us at nina@rocketimprovcomedy.com so we can explore possible accommodations.

Would you consider your classes to be inclusive?

We are proud to foster a welcoming & inclusive community where we value and respect each other's differences. Respectful conduct is paramount in our classes. We expect all students to treat instructors & classmates with courtesy & consideration.

What if somebody accidentally says something embarrassing? Asking for a friend.

Improv is inherently verbally unpredictable, as all dialogue is created spontaneously in the moment. We kindly ask for your grace and understanding as students learn and explore this unscripted form. If you have any concerns, please email Rocket Improv directly.
