Frequently asked questions

How much does the conference cost?

$60 for Professionals or those wanting CEU credits, $25 for caregivers. Caregivers reach out for a promo code if you need help with cost.

Will there be Continuing Education Credits?

CEU’s have been requested from the licensing boards of the following disciplines: Social Workers, Nursing Facility Administrators, and Activity and Recreation Therapists. Approval of and number of hours approved will be posted here as approval is recei

Will in-person registration be available on the day of the conference?

In-person registration will be offered on the day of the conference, however it is subject to space and availability. We recommend registering online in advace to secure your spot.

What does the registraton fee include?

The registration fee covers parking, choice of conference sessions, keynote speaker, professional resource expo, continental breakfast, coffee break, gourmet boxed lunch, CEU credits if applicable.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I am unable to attend?

Yes, registrations are transferable. You can do this by contacting ADRC directly, but we ask to be given as much notice as possible, preferrably 48 hours. NOTE: CEUs are not transferable person to person.

What if the event is cancelled?

If the conference is cancelled, refunds will be made for the entire purchase, including the ticketing fees.

What if I was charged in duplicate?

As long as buyers request a refund within seven days of purchase, they'll get a full refund for duplicate charges—that includes the ticket price and the Ticketing Fees.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the conference?

All fees are nonrefundable, however you may transfer tickets to someone else.

The Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center is a local Long Island nonprofit organization operating since 1983, providing support and services to those impacted by dementia and other forms of cognitive decline.

We provide care consultations, information & referrals, education, support groups, therapy programs for caregivers and their loved ones for FREE. We provide educational training to professional healthcare workers, graduate students, and other organizations throughout Long Island.

To provide care, support and educational programs for families in need, and to be advocates for local families who are coping with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
