Welcome to the African Diaspora International Women's Day 2025!
The African Diaspora International Women's Day 2025 event will attract a multigenerational audience from the government, the arts, corporate, education, religion, non-profits, and other sectors of society who have a global reach. Our invite list also includes: First Ladies of African countries, the African Union Ambassador to the USA, members of the African Diplomatic Corps, Representatives from the United States Local, State, and Federal Governments, and people of African and non-African descent.
The highlights of the event include a highly coveted awards presentation to recognize women who are making great impact in the society national and internationally, and African cultural exhibition. The event is a networking event for those who want to connect with the African diaspora community in Prince George’s County and in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Parking
We encourage guests to take advantage of the designated free parking spaces at the venue. We are expecting to receive over 500 guests. Therefore, plan to arrive early to secure a parking spot.
Event Times
1. Doors will open for check-in at 6:00pm
2. There will be a cocktail and networking session from 6:00 pm to 6:40 pm
3. The event will officially start at 6:40pm

We are working on a line-up of live performances for the evening to give our guests an experience that will teleport them to the continent of Africa.
