Access Family Programs (Teens & Adults)

The Intrepid Museum offers programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families on select Sundays during regular Museum hours. Families take a guided, interactive tour of the Museum and can participate in activities that everyone can enjoy.

Navigation: Finding Your Way

From ships to planes, vessels of all types rely on navigation to find their way. Families will explore historic navigation tools and techniques used at sea and make connections to how we navigate the world today.

Check-in begins at 1:30pm. Please arrive before 2:00pm in order to participate in the full program.

Looking for a program for younger visitors? This program will be offered from 11:00am to 1:00pm for children under 17 with developmental disabilities and their families. Register for the children's program here.
