Welcome to A DEEPLY ROOTED TROLLEY TOUR by Harriett's Bookshop!
A DEEPLY ROOTED Trolley Tour is our three hour, hop on-hop off tour that celebrates local food, culture, history, music, and deeply rooted tradition by visiting new and seasoned spaces throughout Philadelphia.
In 2021, after threats and harassments, Harriett's started trolley tours in a promise to protect and serve ofher local businesses. Four years later the tours continue lifting up hundreds of riders, businesses, and organizations each year.
This year, Harriett's honors our city's literary legend Sonia Sanchez and her poem, Present, which reminds us to stay present to the power that lives in our personal and collective roots.
Riders receive a free journal and tote bag --thanks to Harriett's Bookclub*
Hosted by the one and only STARFIRE--each tour promises laughter, reflection, food, fun, connection, undeniable memories, and books in support of local women and women owned businesses.
