The Office of Military & Veteran Affairs at the University of New Haven cordially invites you to attend our 9th Annual Salute to Service Awards Banquet, Thursday April 10th, 2025 at The Woodwinds in Branford.
This event is open to students, staff, faculty, and families as we celebrate the accomplishments of our student veterans and thank those who go above and beyond to support these student veterans.
This year's ceremony will honor and present a variety of awards to deserving individuals for Outstanding Dedication and Commitment to the Student Veteran and Military Community at the University of New Haven as well as celebrate the accomplishments of our student veterans. We will also be presenting the R.I.S.E. Student of the Year Award to recognize a student veteran for outstanding academic achievement and exemplary career readiness and advancement.
In addition to our Salute to Service Awards we will also be inducting students into the SALUTE National Honor Society and we are honored to welcome Matthew Reith, local Navy veteran and former SEAL Team member, as our keynote speaker this year. This year's program is as follows :
