About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

This event is organized and hosted by Austin E. Tompson, Jr., Honorable Councilman for the City of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Women of Influence in celebration of Women’s History Month recognizes the unapologetic rise and success of our nation’s women, who occupy incredible spaces. These women are leading amazing lives in positions of leadership and influence, but oftentimes, do not get recognized and/or appreciated for the value they bring to their positions.

These women are in careers such as law, education, science, technology, engineering, public service, healthcare, entrepreneurship, hospitality, athletics, media, and so many other industries. From the women’s suffrage movement to Kamala Harris, women have always shown the strength and fearless resilience to accomplish what they desire, stand firm for the respect and recognition of women, and set strong examples for young women who look to them for inspiration.

This 4th annual event recognizes Dr. Jann L. Joseph, President of Georgia Gwinnett College, Honorable Lisa Marie Bristol, Gwinnett County Solicitor General, Ann Carol Pence, Artistic Director and Founder of the Aurora Theater, Triana Arnold James, President of Georgia NOW, and our panel moderator, Catherine Hardrick, Director of Membership for the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce.

We look forward to welcoming you and having you join us for this wonderful celebration of these amazing women. Thank you.
