The URI Schmidt Center for Labor Relations and Human Resources (SLRC) welcomes you to register for our 37th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference hosted by the Rogers Williams University School of Law.
The conference brings together labor and employment lawyers, scholars, and representatives from federal and state agencies. Discussions will cover key legal updates from state and federal courts, a significant Supreme Court case, as well as AI standards and ethical responsibilities. A highlight of the event will be a fireside chat with The Honorable George Nee, President of the Rhode Island AFL-CIO (Ret.) and The Honorable George Healy, Jr., Chief Judge of the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court (Ret.).

Space is limited to 190 attendees. Early-bird tickets, at $175 per person, will be available until March 7th. After that date, the ticket fee will increase to $250 per person. A student rate of $60 is available to graduate and law students, to gain an access code contact Jasmine at jasmine_ma@uri.edu.

The conference is open to the public and will benefit anyone working in the labor and employment fields.
This program is approved for 6 Rhode Island MCLE credits with 1.5 ethics credits. Attorneys seeking MCLE credits should include their bar registration number on their online registration form.
This program is approved for 6 PDC credits for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
A Certificate of Completion will be given at the conference and emailed to those who request one after the conference.
