To Benefit Haus of Codec: Haus of Codec, an emergency housing provider for 2SLGBTQ+ youth ages 18-24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We provide rapid rehousing, access to case management, clothing pantry, food pantry, access to free mental health care and a transportation stipend for each client. HOC defines transition-aged youth as individuals between 18-24. In addition, we work with youth exposed to the juvenile justice system, aging out of foster care, or cannot return home because of their homes for their sexuality or gender. This demographic sees a more significant risk of violence and abuse in larger, less amenable shelter spaces our state has historically provided. Since our inception HOC has completed intake for nearly 100 youth ages 18 - 24.
