2025 Drop-In Microaggressions Workshop

For 90 minutes, Pooja Kothari, the founder and CEO of Boundless Awareness will guide participants through lectures and thought experiments that are designed to examine our everyday language so that by the end of each workshop, participants will have a better understanding of intent vs. impact, power and privilege, and how to take accountability for harm. Additionally, participants will be given a link to the 2025 Boundless Awareness Companion Resource Sheet which includes books, articles, podcasts, and documentaries curated to support future anti-oppression education.

Our quarterly workshops are operating on a Pay What You Can model.

Boundless Awareness is a Certified NYS and NYC M/WBE - Minority/Women Business Owned Enterprise. For more on our certification and offerings, visit boundlessawareness.com.

Frequently asked questions

Can I receive certification for completing this training?

Yes! All participants of any of our 2025 Drop-In Workshops will automatically receive a certificate of completion—no need to request one.

Will this workshop be recorded? Will it be shared?

Yes, this workshop will be recorded and will only be shared with participants of that specific workshop for those who might have had to leave early or would like to rewatch the session.

Am I expected to keep my camera on for the entire session?

No. Despite the interactive, experiential quality of our workshops, we understand that being on camera is not always possible. We invite all participants to do what's most comfortable.

Do I have to prepare anything to engage with this material?

No need to prepare a thing! Regardless of if this is the first or the latest step in your anti-oppression journey, all we ask you join us with is a willingness and readiness to learn.

What are the rules of the workshop space?

The work we're engaged with is difficult and oftentimes uncomfortable, to ensure the safety and trust of all participants, we ask that you actively listen, speak directly, welcome discomfort, expect & accept non-closure, and share only what you've learned and not the names/stories of others.
