JEFF STRUECKER: U.S. ARMY MAJOR, 75th RANGER REGIMENT (retired)

In 1993 , 24 year old sergeant Struecker led the 3-vehicle convoy that returned, through intensive fire, Private Blackburn to base, in the Battle of Mogadishu. The battle is recalled in the 2001 film BLACK HAWK DOWN.

Jeff is the winner of the BEST RANGER COMPETITION in 1996 with his partner SPC Isaac Gmazel. Competition consisted of 3 days – 58 hours of physical/technical/cognitive activity with only 4 hours rest.
His numerous medals include Silver Star and Bronze Star(3)
Jeff was inducted in the Army Ranger Hall of Fame in 2017
He is married to his wife Dawn and has 4 children.
