Frequently asked questions

Who does the event benefit?

All proceeds from the event support the services provided by the Child Advocacy Center of Coos County. We work with a team of child protection, law enforcement, prosecution, and medical and mental health providers to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to child abuse investigations.

Is the color safe?

The color powder used at this event is nonhazardous and biodegradable. The colorful powders are a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and food-safe dyes. Some participants may choose to wear sunglasses or goggles to protect their eyes and/or a bandana or mask to avoid accidental inhalation.

Will the color stain my clothing or belongings?

While the color is food safe, it is not dye free; we do not guarantee that it will wash out/off of clothing, personal belongings or vehicle upholstery. We recommend you take precaution when choosing what to wear and be prepared to cover the seats of the vehicle that you are traveling in.

Can I register on the day of the event?

There may be limited registration available on the day of the event, but it is not a guarantee. Same day registration will also increase in price to $30.00/adult, and $25.00/child. We also do not guarantee that swag related to the event, will be available to late registrants.

Can I bring my pet?

For the safety of the participants and your pets, we do not recommend bringing your pet to this event.
