The Neighborhood Services Department for the City of Champaign is excited to host the 2025 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference (CNNC)!
CNNC is a dynamic one-day conference featuring presentations from City staff, local governing bodies/institutions, and community partner agencies covering topics relevant to maintaining vibrant and engaged neighborhoods. CNNC is geared towards Champaign's registered neighborhood group leaders, their respective neighbors and community members interested in neighborhood organizing and engagement efforts. CNNC will provide a content rich day of diverse learning opportunities in areas such as City programs, engagement initiatives, and community resources available to support building stronger neighborhood connections. The conference will include a key-note address from City of Champaign City Manager Joan Walls.

Yes! The conference is geared toward our registered neighborhood group leaders, but anyone can attend. We would ask that you use what you've learned to organize a neighborhood group where you live!
The conference is open to youth ages 16 and older. Each youth is required to register.
Yes! From the conference site's website: Our hotel is committed to providing accessible accommodations for guests of all abilities. We offer a range of accessible features, including wheelchair-friendly rooms, elevators, and more.
Food for the conference site is catered exclusively by University Catering. No outside food is allowed at the conference. However, the catering selections include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
Though we hope all attendees can get the full conference experience, we understand that there may be existing conflicts keeping attendees from attending all workshop sessions. Please only sign up for sessions you can attend so spots remain open for others.
No. Registrants are encouraged to invite others to attend, however; each individual must be registered separately. Registrants must provide their own individual method of contact so we can reach people directly regarduing their attendance at the conference.
