This romantic evening of rare wine tasting begins with a sparkling wine reception under the stars at Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfron Resort. Extremely limited reserve level wines are matched with gourmet appetizers from top local chefs, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, olive oils and more while live music keeps things super cool.

This is CWF’s signature wine event. Thousands of wine lovers pour into Santa Barbara’s sun-splashed beachside location for a day of sun, sea, wine, food, and music. Wine oenophiles will find hundreds of fine wines, regional craft brews and a dizzying variety of foods to sample. Enjoy delicious tri-tip provide by our talented BBQ Competitors and cast your vote for you favorite one! Taste artisanal cheeses, breads, olive oil, chocolates and more! A live band keeps the beat for this all-day feast for the senses where wine and food are king and queen.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE TRI-TIP: Upon entering the festival grounds, you will receive a wristband with a voting tab. Taste the delicious tri-tip provided by our talented BBQ Competitors and head to the California Wine Festival booth adjacent to the BBQ area and cast your vote! Voting ends at 3pm

EXPANDED VIP PAVILION: VIP ticket holders can enjoy appetizers, reserve level wines, craft brews and water along with special ocean view seating in the Pavilion tent.

California Wine Festival celebrates the fine wines and culinary offerings of California. A nationally recognized event series, California Wine Festival aims to bring attention to the beautiful wines, foods, and landscapes of California. Founded in 2004 in Santa Barbara, California Wine Festival is proud to be one of the largest outdoor wine festivals in the state and strives to be a green event producer. In 2024, 90% of the waste from the festivals was diverted from the landfill. A for-profit organization whose mission includes giving back, California Wine Festival has helped raise awareness and funds for local California charities including the Foodbank of Santa Barbara, The Surfrider Foundation, Golden Rule Charity and more.
