About The Spark Series

The Center for Financial Inclusion and Financial Empowerment Center at the Greater Washington Urban League is hosting a "Spark Series" of classes to put you in the driver's seat to building a secure financial future for you and your family. Our series of classes, led by industry experts, will cover a range of topics from the impact of financial stress on your brain to designing your financial freedom plan. The classes are designed to be taken as a series as each one builds upon the material from the class before it. We encourage you to take all the classes in the series. Upon completion of the "Spark Series," you will be eligible to take advantage of our financial therapy and financial coaching sessions at no cost to you. You will also be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card!

Our highly interactive classes are designed to include any learner at any level. At no charge but with a commitment to invest in yourself, you will leave with a pathway to take control of your financial future and the knowledge to build an empowering relationship with money.
